2018 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Price and Reviews- Anything is changing for the Raptor – and for the better. Completely all new for 2016, the Raptor moves to the new F-150 design that incorporates the aluminum bodywork, beefy high-strength steel body, upgraded interior, and certainly, even Ford’s EcoBoost technology. That’s right, the Captor is ditching the six. 2-liter V-8 for a high-output version of the 3. 5-liter EcoBoost V-6.
While some may be concerned the Raptor has lost its mojo, Ford producer says the new high-strung EcoBoost puts out more than the old 411-horsepower, 434-pound-foot V-8. The engine is then backed by a 10-speed computerized indication and manipulated by a new Terrain Management and new transfer case.
Put to that the reduced weight of the V-6 and the new aluminium skin, and the Captor advice when 500 pounds lighter that the amazing model. While that’s not as much as the 700 pounds the standard F-150 lost, the 200-pound difference is tied up in the Raptor’s heightened frame. Yes, strengthened over and above the newly upgraded 2015 F-150 frame.
Other advancements include a dual exhaust system that exits under the shorty rear bumper, bigger FOX Racing shocks with an increase of suspension travel, and BFGoodrich’s newly released All-Terrain K02 tires.

Checking the Raptor container on the F-150 order form does quite somewhat to the interior. Added are unique seats with leather and suede inserts, an upgraded overhead system with six up-fitter buttons and controls for the moonroof, a suede and leather-wrapped steering wheel with large, F1-style paddle shifters, and carbon fiber features putting on a costume key areas around the cabin.
Like the standard F-150, the top digital display makes its home in the driver’s measure cluster and shows many pages of information like off-road info to engine and mechanical stats.
With all the SuperCrew, rear passengers are treated to the F-150’s massive amounts of back legroom. It’s practically limo like. When it comes to storage, the SuperCrew’s rear bench seat folds over neatly along the rear bulkhead, allowing clear gain access to the flat insert floor. No folding personal system or other trick is needed to create the flat surface. The same interior styling and equipment is offered here as well.
Ford has upgraded the Raptor’s postponement, interruption to match its enhanced frame. The truck still employs FOX Racing shock front and rear, but all four have recently been upgraded from 2. 5-inch canisters to 3-inch devices for improved performance and durability. The beefy lightweight aluminum front control arms go back better than previously and with added travel past the previous truck’s eleven. 2-inch front and 12-inch rear travel. The recognized specifications have not yet been released.
