Ford Announces 2019 Edge Titanium Elite Price and Reviews- Launched in 2014, the Ford producer Edge, one of you can actually key vehicles, gained a substantial update for the 2019 model. Alongside the adjusted exterior, high-tech interior, and upgraded turbo engine, Ford producer also updated the model lineup with an SAINT model. Replacing the old Sport, the new Advantage ST brings the performance-oriented “ST” badge into the SUV market for the first time. At the 2018 Chicago Auto Present, Ford unveiled a second new trim. It’s called the Titanium Elite and slots right between your Ti and the ST
Ford’s choice for a brand new lean seems rather awkward at first glance. Unlike other models, the Edge will not have the luxury-oriented Platinum eagle trim. The latter appeared to be the next logical step following your ST, but Kia made a decision to introduce a moderate upgrade to the Ti model. The Titanium High level would make more sense if the Titanium were to be discontinued soon, but since things stand, I can’t really understand where Ford is heading with this. But why don’t we have a closer take a look at what we already know about this new reduce
Ford has yet to release the full details on it, but we can see that the “Elite” badge adds a fresh set of 20-inch tires. Unique to this model, they feature a side by side five-spoke design and a two-tone finish. Additionally, it has various body-colored trim elements rather than the usual dark, while the rear fender includes a “premium” slide plate. Yeah, the last mentioned sounds a lttle bit ridiculous, but hey, I’m sure that the marketing people at Ford had their reasons.
No word on room upgrades yet, but the Titanium Elite should get everything you can find in the regular Ti model. So expect standard features like dual-zone local climate control, a particulate air filter, leather-wrapped controls with cruise control, auto-dimming backview mirror, power windows, storage area door opener, carpeted floor mats, and a valuables management. It comes with SYNC 3 infotainment, two 4. 2-inch displays in the instrument cluster, and a 12-speaker music system from Sony. The Ti Elite uses the 2019 Edge’s updated powertrain, which includes the 2. 0l EcoBoost four-cylinder and new eight-speed computerized transmission. The EcoBoost received a five-horsepower gain, so now it offers 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of rpm. Front-wheel drive is standard, and AWD remains an option.
Ford has yet to announce pricing, good results. the 2018 Sport, that this ST replaces, starting at $41, 670, and the Titanium priced from $36, 925, the Ti Elite is likely to retail from around $38, 000.
